Stir fried Bee Hoon

Preparation Time: 40 mins

Cooking Time: 30 mins

Servings for 2 – 4 persons

Ingredients

½ a packet of bee hoon, soak with water to soften

100g bean sprouts, remove head and roots

100g char siew pork and cut in cubes

100g french beans and cut in shred

1 tsp chopped garlic

2 large shitake mushrooms

2 eggs fried and shredded

6 large prawns deshelled and cut into cubes

1 Tbsp light soy sauce

Method:

1. Heat wok with 6 Tbsp of cooking oil

2. Stir fry garlic till lightly brown

3. Add mushroom and french beans, stir fry for about 5 mins

4. Add char siew and bee hoon to stir fry for about 10 mins

5. Add bean sprouts and stir fry for about 2 mins

6. Add light soy sauce and stir fry for 10 mins

7. Add pepper to taste and cooked shredded eggs and stir fry the last 3 mins before serving

This is best eat with sambal belacan chilli and lime….yummy :p

  1. are u sure by just adding 1 table spoon of soy sauce is enough the bring out the taste? checkout others recipe for stir fried mee hoon or vermicilli….

  2. Yes because my cooking is not salty and usually to enhance the taste. The rest of the ingredients would bring out the flavour.
